ANA MAYA
Ana Maya es la Coordinadora del Programa de Defensa de la Familia del Isla Vista Youth Project (IVYP). Ana estudió en el Santa Barbara City College y obtuvo su Certificación de Educación Parvularia Bilingüe y Bicultural. Antes de trabajar con IVYP, Ana trabajó en el Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) y como maestra preescolar con el Programa de Desarrollo Infantil en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Santa Bárbara. Ella se interesó en MVMV porque quiere poder dar información y educación sobre la importancia del programa. En su tiempo libre a Ana le gusta caminar por la playa y ser entrenadora de fútbol. Su mayor pasión es apoyar a sus hijos en sus juegos de fútbol.
Ana Maya is the Family Advocate Program Coordinator at the Isla Vista Youth Project (IVYP). Ana attended SBCC and studied Early Childhood Education and obtained her Early Childhood Development Certification and Bilingual Bicultural Certification. Prior to working with IVYP, Ana worked with the Home Instruction Program for Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) and as a Preschool Teacher with the Child Development Program in the Santa Barbara Unified School District. She was attracted to MVMV because she wants to be able to provide information and education about the importance of MVMV. On her free time, Ana enjoys walking on the beach and coaching soccer. Her biggest passion is supporting her children at their soccer games.
